My name is Ammad Zuberi, and I am a junior in high school in New York. I am an American of Pakistani heritage, and I have travelled annually to Pakistan, seeing climate conditions increasingly worsen and the regular people of Pakistan suffer as a result. I have lived in NYC my entire life, and climate conditions have also deteriorated here, with rising sea levels and increasingly severe weather threatening the city. I have dedicated myself on this site to highlighting those “ecopreneurs” who are making a difference in this fight, spreading awareness about different aspects of the green transition, and giving you opportunities to get involved in projects fighting climate change across the world. The time to fight against climate change is now and there is a lot of work to do and it won’t be easy but it is our obligation to protect our beautiful planet, and being optimistic our ability to make a difference is a great start.

Together, I am very optimistic about what we can accomplish.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep
